See it, Snap it, Send it (an easier way to 311)

By June 12, 2015City Services

In 2013, the city of Dallas introduced a way for people to use their phones to report graffiti, potholes, illegal dumping and other such urban irritants. The City rolled out the 311 app for iPhone and Android devices.

This free app lets anyone with a smartphone file a complaint directly to the city’s Code Compliance department, document it with a photo, transmit a GPS location and track the city’s response. The app bypasses the 311 call taker, which allows the complaint to be filed in seconds.

To download the app, search for “Dallas 311” in your phone’s app store.
