Dallas Sanitation Services picks up brush and bulk trash for customers once per month. Items must be set out by 7 a.m. on the Monday of your collection
week, but not earlier than the Thursday before your collection week.
What Goes In?

- Shrubbery
- Bagged leaves
- Furniture*
- Appliances*
- Carpet*
- Mattresses*
- Other bulky items*
*Separate bulk trash from brush, limbs, and leaves.
What Doesn’t?
- Construction debris — To dispose of construction debris call 3‐1‐1 to request Cost Plus Service.
- Bricks, concrete, rocks and dirt — Bricks, concrete, rocks and dirt should be taken to McCommas Bluff Landfill for disposal.
- Grass clippings — Grass clippings should be mulched back into your lawn or added to your home compost pile.
Remember…
Put materials on the curb in front of your home. Do not place on vacant lots or medians. Don’t place in front of utility poles, traffic signs, utilities meters or hydrants and don’t block the pile.
