Yard of the Month – 820 Pavillion
Passing by 820 Pavilion, one has to admire the vibrant roses that are blooming throughout the year. Richard Boul has created a spectacular rose garden, right in his own front yard. Richard shared with me some of the
various roses that he has incorporated in the setting. One finds Bing Crosby, Julie Childs, Oregold, The Squire, Rainbow, Rock and Roll and Passionate Kisses, just to name a few. I addition to the roses, there is Mexican
Heather, Marigolds and a flaming red Celosias, which has come up on its own. There is a lush ground cover of Wandering Jew that he has to keep at bay.
Richard gives most of the credit for these prolific roses to the Texas sunshine and a drip irrigation system. However, one knows roses need a lot of tender loving care and they receive that and so much more.
