The Bryan Street Town-homes in the 3600 block of Bryan and the 3600 block of  Edgar Place are this month’s pick for Yard’s of the Month. One of the property owners, Scott Simpson, is responsible for this phenomenal setting.

The entire community is ablaze in color with numerous varieties of bedding plants. Just to mention a few, there are cascading petunias, geraniums, balsam, dahlias, vinya major and many that I do not know their names. Italian cypress and palm trees anchor the setting, along with large rocks, beds of river rock, cactus, native grasses and so much more.

On the corner of Bryan and Villars, there is a terraced garden filled to the brim and accented with beds of “blue fire glass” that catches one’s eye.

As an added treat, Scott has shared his green thumbs by maintaining the flower bed across the street in the park. When you are out and about, drive down Bryan St. and check out what I have discovered in our own backyard.  You will not be disappointed!
