902 Liberty Street
Our July Bryan Place Neighborhood Association Yard of the Month is another couple who have lived at two locations in our neighborhood. Will and Erica Holland rented a house on Lakenheath and decided they liked Bryan Place so much they bought the home at 902 Liberty Street. They faced a real challenge when starting to landscape their corner lot — a pickup truck ran over their yard this spring.
But Will and Erica did not interpret the tire tracks as a bad landscaping omen. They bravely confronted the ruts. Now gerber daisies, hydrangeas, azaleas, and gardenias deco‐ rate the corner of the yard at Liberty and Adolf. Flanking the front door on Adolf, a bed of snap dragons, petunias, and roses are backed by a fence full of star jasmine. Tropical hibiscus and duranta bush greet you at the driveway. Coleus, caladium, and sweet potato vines hide under the shade of the oaks.
