The median on Skiles Street is this month’s pick for Yard of the Month. Having driven around the neighborhood over the last few days, the only patch of green space was in the median.
Thanks to the diligent work of our landscape team, Jesus and Alberto Cavazos, the Skiles median has a lush carpet of winter rye and newly pruned Crepe Myrtle Trees and Knock Out Roses.
Come spring, the roses will be back with their blaze of color and the Crepe Myrtles will make their presence known a little bit later. When you see the landscape team working the medians, intersections and yards around Bryan Place, you will know who is responsible for keeping our neighborhood in tip top shape.
