The cul-de-sacs and internal homes on our “trails” in Bryan Place are major contributors to what makes our neighborhood unique and charming. The February 2010 Yard of the Month is one of these homes that is set back off Bryan St at 3619 on one of these unique “trails”.

The coordinated and various colors of purple plantings show off this well landscaped yard. The variations in the selection of well maintained shrubs also offer a nice appeal with yellows and reds mixed amongst the greenery. And, the charming entrance to this place has old world charm flanked on each side as you walk up into the surround to get to the front door. You want charming; this
is IT.

Thank you Jeff Auvenshine for having such a nice landscape for all to admire.

And I must say that all your immediate neighbors within your “trail” have such a cohesive look that I admired ALL of them while choosing this month’s Yard of the Month.

Tip of the month: Mulch your flower beds before the weather warms up to prevent weeds from sprouting and divide and replant your summer and fall blooming perennials while they are still dormant.
