Last month a neighbor was persistent about calling 911. The neighbor’s action may have deterred a would-be burglar from victimizing Bryan Place.

The neighbor first called when the suspect tried stealing a bicycle off the rack on a car on Pavillion and Adolph streets. Because the thief was unsuccessful, the police were unable to make an arrest.

The same suspect returned, climbed the fence of the pool clubhouse and camped out overnight. Unfortunately he left before the police arrived. The neighbor praised the quick reaction from Dallas Police though.

Hopefully the suspect realized he was being watched and won’t try Bryan Place again. We are grateful to have vigilant neighbors like this and encourage others to ALWAYS dial 911 when a suspicious person or activity occurs in our neighborhood.
