On June 11th, in the middle of the day, two homes were burglarized in Bryan Place. An alert neighbor saw something out of the ordinary and immediately called 911, allowing the police to apprehend the suspect on site without further incident.
The suspect broke into both homes, stole two firearms, physically assaulted one of the victims and was later found to have outstanding warrants for theft and assault. The arresting officer said that “all parties in the incident did a good job.” He also was very complimentary of the alert neighbor’s call to 911 early in the process which helped minimize the threat to other homes and residents in our neighborhood.
Please look out for your neighbors and call 911 when you see any suspicious individuals or activity. You do not need to identify yourself to the police.
