Bryan Place Neighborhood Association Websites

The Bryan Place Neighborhood Association is privileged to have an expert webmaster, Phillip Bryan, our neighbor. Sharon Smith created the initial static website in 2008. Phillip began migrating the web in 2010 to a dynamic site using a content management system. He describes our sites as “a work in progress” because the underlying technologies continue to change and improve.

Phillip strives to keep pace with the changes so our membership can easily access neighborhood information regardless of what they use to connect to the web i.e., a tablet, a phone, or a computer.

Our public website is supported by the Association and can be accessed at It provides an on‐going stream of neighborhood‐
specific information for anyone to see. He has organized this site to provide a glimpse of current information on the home page with links that take you to the expanded content on that subject. He changes the home page content as new information becomes available. The Association’s monthly newsletter is linked to the homepage to provide convenience for the web reader. The reader can use the dropdown lists on the homepage to access a wide variety of information as shown in the following diagram:

The public website provides people moving to within Dallas means to learn about our neighborhood and what a great place it is for living near downtown.

In the last year Phillip has begun the building process for a members‐only site available to paid members of the Bryan Place Neighborhood Association. When you join the Association, you are automatically enrolled in the member‐only portion of the website. Important information is posted in this space relating to the Association’s Board, Board minutes of our meetings, historical documents. You can participate by submitting an article or document you believe would be of interest to other members. You can also update your profile or renew your membership on this
site. The message board provides you the tools to discuss issues with other association members.

Phillip deserves our heartfelt congratulations for an excellent web presence for the Bryan Place Neighborhood Association.
