Greystar, the developer of the multi-family project Elan City Lights, is in the planning stages of a new mixed use development on the land owned by
a third party to the east of the existing Elan apartments.
The land is located within the borders of Texas, Cantegral and Live Oak streets. Greystar hopes to include retail, a possible grocer, and more apartment units above the retail shops.
The board met with representatives of Greystar on February 22, 2016 to hear about the potential development and requested that Greystar host a “town hall” informational meeting so that all interested neighbors may learn more about the potential project directly from those responsible for the development.
