The eastbound construction of Live Oak Street, just outside of Bryan Place, is complete improving sidewalks, gutters, drainage, waste water, and signage. Now the westbound portion is being redone.
According to DART, who is completing the construction for the City of Dallas, the work should be complete in the spring. During the construction, old rail lines were unearthed, revealing a bit of Dallas history as bus lines took over in the mid 1950’s.
