With the near completion of the new Icon At Ross apartments, we can see the changes along this stretch of Ross Avenue taking place.

Previously, Ross Avenue was lined with auto repair shops and night clubs (as pictured below). The new apartment complex has really cleaned up the area and may be a catalyst for other transformations. It has an unprecedented 30 percent occupancy already we’re told. Rumor has it that the recently cleared lot across the street is supposed to become a park for the apartment’s residents.

The new owner of the old Downtown Upholstery garage is opening a much needed coffee shop and restaurant in a few months. Go by and see the changes already taking place. All signs of Ross Avenue transforming!
