Another sign of Ross Avenue being transformed has occurred in recent weeks when Otra Parte Night Club at the corner of Ross and Carroll was demolished.
Though the night club existed before Cesar Chavez Learning Center was built, it has been a source of contention with PD298 residents because of activities occurring directly across from a school.
The Bowling & Billiards building and parking lot in the 4000 block of Ross has been cleared to make way for what may be a restaurant storage facility, a neighbor was told.
