Those who have lived in Bryan Place for several years have watched how Ross Avenue has been transforming from run-down bars, auto repair shops, and used car lots to beautiful apartments and town homes with more to come.

With the help of PD-298 this change continues. There are now only a couple of auto related businesses that remain. Eating options now range from fast food to upscale dining. And with any luck, the much talked about coffee shop will open when the owner secures a tenant at Hall and Ross.

There was hope that the historic Fishburn’s Cleaners building at Ross and Pavillion building could have been converted into lofts, but it didn’t survive the wrecking ball.

But sometimes new is better and with any luck, Ross Avenue will rival other areas of town and even Texas.
