A few days after the September deadline, the buildings at the sight of City Lights have been demolished in accordance with the agreement for the owner to purchase the property from the City Of Dallas.
Still no plans have been revealed for the land. But the buildings which have been an eyesore for many Bryan Place residents are now gone. The original demolition date was supposed to be back in June.
The board fought at the city council meeting to ensure no more extensions would be given to the owner.
