In the coming months, a brief profile will be provided on each of our Board Members in this section of Newsletter.
This series will begin with our current President, Linda Collins. Linda moved to Bryan Place from Carrollton in 2002. She grew up in Oak Cliff and is a native Texan. Linda retired in 2013 after 33 years with the Food and Drug Administration as a Food Sanitation Specialist. She spent her career consulting with state and local food program managers and teaching food sanitation to restaurant inspectors.
The leadership skills she developed as a National Team Leader for the Retail Food Cooperative Program, she now uses to help the Bryan Place Neighborhood Association. Since her retirement, she spends her time trying to make the yard on Lakenheath look nice, reading , collecting recipes, and traveling. She and Gary will next be traveling to Vietnam and Cambodia.
